Licking River Greenway Trail
Covington’s riverfront boasts a 2-mile braided trail network featuring a natural surface trail along the river, a paved multi-use trail on the levee, and a series of murals.
While only 2 miles of the paved Licking River Greenway Trail have been built along Covington’s Licking Riverfront, plans are underway to connect Kenton and Campbell Counties with this multi-use trail. Once the multi-phase project is complete, the trail will connect this historic Northern Kentucky city with neighboring Newport, Wilder and Taylor Mill.
The Licking River Greenway Trail provides a relaxing escape from Northern Kentucky's bustling urban hub and serves as a gateway to the Ohio River and Downtown Cincinnati.
