Tri-State Trails’ 2024 Trail Monitoring Report

Tri-State Trails’ 2024 Trail Monitoring Report highlights the growing importance of multi-use trails in Greater Cincinnati’s transportation and recreation network. Since launching the Trail Monitoring Program in 2016, Tri-State Trails has tracked trail usage with advanced Eco-Counter technology, providing valuable data on Annual Average Daily Trail Traffic (AADTT) and Trail Miles Traveled (TMT). This year’s findings show a 7% increase in AADTT, reflecting more people using trails daily, though trips are slightly shorter than in 2023.
