Register for the 2026 Tour de CROWN

Join hundreds of riders on Saturday, August 29, for the fourth annual Tour de CROWN. Choose from three route options, experience the growing CROWN, and celebrate with our community at Fifty West Brewing Company.

Every city has moments that reveal what it values.

Sometimes it’s a historic landmark. Sometimes it’s an Opening Day Parade. Sometimes it’s hundreds of people riding bicycles together through neighborhoods that, not long ago, felt disconnected.

On August 29, riders from across Greater Cincinnati and beyond will gather for the fourth annual Tour de CROWN, an annual ride celebrating the Cincinnati Riding or Walking Network (CROWN) and the steady progress being made to connect our region.

The CROWN is a vision for a 34-mile urban trail loop. Today, about 24 miles have been completed.

From 2019 to 2022, Tri-State Trails raised $10 million through the CROWN Capital Campaign to leverage federal and state grants and connect the Wasson Way, Little Miami Scenic Trail, and Ohio River Trail. Since 2019, more than $43.2 million in public funding has been invested in CROWN projects, leveraging partnerships among local governments, park districts, nonprofits, businesses, philanthropic organizations, and countless community advocates. Those investments are already changing how people experience Greater Cincinnati.

Follow the CROWN’s Progress

The CROWN changes every year, and so does our interactive map. Explore completed trail segments, future connections, project updates, photos, videos, and stories from across the region to see how the network is taking shape.

The story of the CROWN and the progress of its connected trail network is felt strongly from the seat of a bicycle, especially when you’re part of the Tour de CROWN. One moment, you’re cruising along, riding with no hands on a completed trail. A few miles later, you’re crossing a corridor where the next connection has already been planned or funded. Then you’re back on another finished segment, riding through neighborhoods that feel just a little closer than they did before.

While much of the eastern side of the CROWN is already taking shape, significant gaps remain, especially on Cincinnati’s west side. Residents across our region deserve safe, comfortable places to walk, bike, and roll, regardless of their ZIP code. Completing the network will take continued investment, thoughtful planning, and strong partnerships.

The ride has grown alongside the network itself. The inaugural Tour de CROWN welcomed 325 riders in 2023. By 2025, participation had grown to more than 700 riders, with families, neighborhood groups, employers, and bicycle enthusiasts all discovering the CROWN in their own way. Many participants leave with a better understanding of what’s already been built, and what’s still missing, and become advocates to keep the momentum going. The Tour de CROWN offers a chance to experience that momentum firsthand.

That’s what makes the Tour de CROWN so meaningful. It doesn’t present the CROWN as a finished project. It invites people to experience a network that’s still taking shape and to imagine what our region will look like when it’s complete.

We hope you’ll join us on Saturday, August 29.

Whether this is your first community ride or your hundredth, you’ll experience the progress our region has made, the partnerships making it possible, and the opportunities still ahead.

Your registration supports Tri-State Trails’ work to advocate for safer, more connected places to walk, bike, and roll throughout Greater Cincinnati, and helps move the CROWN one connection closer to completion.
