Thank you to our presenters and to everyone who joined us for the January 30, 2026 Regional Trail & Bikeway Committee (RTBC) meeting. We were excited to welcome 170 registered participants, a strong showing that reflects the region’s growing commitment to trails, bikeways, and connected communities.

A High-Level Look at Regional Trail & Bikeway Progress

Our annual regional trail report is always a highlight for Tri-State Trails because it offers a big-picture view of how communities across the region are advancing trail and bikeway projects—and increasingly connecting them into a cohesive network. What stands out year after year is the collaboration and momentum. Local governments, park districts, advocacy organizations, and planners are being creative with the resources they have, adapting projects to meet local needs, sharing lessons learned, and aligning their efforts across jurisdictions. That collective approach is accelerating progress and ensuring investments deliver meaningful regional impact.

In addition to partner updates, the meeting included major progress and exciting news about the Cincinnati Riding or Walking Network (CROWN). We shared significant funding and planning updates for the Oasis Corridor, spanning from Sawyer Point to Lunken Airport, along with small-but-mighty connections like Wasson Way Phase 6B and the community-led, multi-partner, long-term work in the Mill Creek Valley—all bringing the vision of a fully connected 34-mile loop closer to reality.
