Thank you for helping us reach our 2020 fundraising goal

Friday, January 8, 2021 by Wade Johnston

2020 may be a ridiculous year for the record books, but it’s also been a year of outpouring support for the work of Tri-State Trails. Thanks to support from donors like you, Tri-State Trails raised $10,020 in our end of year fundraising campaign, exceeding our $10,000 goal. With a generous 2:1 match from the Devou Good Foundation, your donations were tripled to $30,060!

We just want to say thank you.

We know this has been a hard time for so many people financially, and we’re humbled and honored that people chose to invest in our trail and bikeway network. The investment that community members are making to support active transportation will pay dividends and last for generations as Tri-State Trails works to connect and expand our region’s trail and bikeway network.

We’re also very proud of the progress we made on CROWN in 2020 and the partnerships we’re continuing to forge. From a $3.76 million federal grant for Wasson Way to a $250,000 Ohio State Capital grant to connect to Uptown, our advocacy is continuing to unlock new miles of trail each year.

We couldn’t do this without you.

In 2021, we’ll continue its work to raise awareness and gain support from elected officials for our Active Transportation Policy Platform, expand the CROWN network through strategic fundraising and trail development, and work to empower individuals to lead healthier, more active lives.

If you didn’t support Tri-State Trails in 2020, you can still support the growth of trails, advocacy and policy in the tri-state area with a tax-deductible online gift today.
