This year, why not añadir a new adventure to your routine? If you’ve been meaning to learn a new skill (like knitting or brushing up on your Spanish with DuoLingo), why not also empezar (start) a habit of exploring local trails?
Here are a couple of trails to get you inspired—you’ll find all the details on our Trail Finder page, including distance, location, and highlights::
- The CROWN (Cincinnati Riding or Walking Network): A 34-mile urban, off-road trail loop with nearly 24 miles complete, including the Wasson Way, Little Miami Scenic Trail, Ohio River Trail, and Mill Creek Greenway. Start your journey now and plan to join us for the Tour de CROWN on Saturday, August 23, 2025—registration opens soon! It’s the perfect way to turn your 2025 resolutions into a reality while exploring Cincinnati.
- Whitewater Canal Trail: What used to be three noncontiguous trail segments has now connected into a cohesive 11-mile trail spanning from the Laurel Fedder Dam Trailhead almost all the way to downtown Brookville. Following a historic canal route through Indiana’s Whitewater River Valley, this trail offers undisturbed views of aqueducts, locks, and wildlife.
- Great Miami River Trail: This trail meanders through the Great Miami River Valley, stretching 11.2 miles from Fairfield to Hamilton and 77 miles from Middletown to Piqua. Whether you’re looking for a short ride or a longer adventure, it’s sure to offer scenic views and fun challenges.
