Help us welcome Caitlin Sparks to Tri-State Trails

Wednesday, October 6, 2021 by Wade Johnston

Please join us in welcoming our newest team member, Caitlin Sparks! Caitlin will be joining Tri-State Trails in a new full time role as the Communications and Events Manager. She’ll help us celebrate our region’s trails and tell the story of people using them through our communications channels and events.

Caitlin earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts from Northern Kentucky University in 2012 and has more than seven years of experience in non-profit communications. Caitlin comes to us from Kentuckians For The Commonwealth where she worked as the Visual Communications Manager crafting campaigns and events for state-wide voting rights, a just transition to clean energy, state-wide fairness, and more.

In addition to being an avid cyclist, Caitlin serves on the board of the Village Green Foundation in Northside, the home of Mobo Bicycle Co-op, and the Park Board in Dayton, Kentucky. When she’s not working or riding bikes, you can find Caitlin with her two cats fixing up her 130 year old house in Dayton, Kentucky.

We’re excited to see her apply her creativity and community organizing experience to help grow Tri-State Trails as a leader in active transportation!
