Celebrate with us as Mayor Cranley cuts the ribbon on the new segment of the Ohio River Trail West in Lower Price Hill! The trail runs about 0.6 mile from Evans Street to State Street.
The ceremony will be held on the trail near the intersection of River Road and State Street. Coffee Emporium is generously donating prepackaged cold brew coffee and iced tea for the event. Please wear a mask and practice physical distancing during the event.
We encourage you to walk or ride a bike to the event because parking is limited. If you must drive, you can park on/around Neave Street and walk over. Olde Fort Restoration (637 Neave St) is allowing cars to use their small parking lot for the event. If parking is scarce, you can park at Evans Field (640 Evans St) and walk the trail on your way to the party.
The ORT West is a key corridor in the #CROWNcincinnati plan to create a 34-mile trail loop around Cincinnati. The next 1.3 mile section of ORT West recently started construction, and will run from Gilday/Riverside Park in Riverside to Fairbanks Ave in Sedamsville in 2021. The ORT West also connects via sidewalk to the recently opened Incline Run connection (following Maryland Ave) that traverses up into East Price Hill.
