Help us demonstrate the demand for continued investment in trail and bikeway infrastructure by joining us Tuesday, September 19, for Tri-State Trails’ third Meet the Candidates Ride! We’ve invited all the candidates running for Cincinnati City Council to explore the city’s bike infrastructure and connect with constituents for this experiential learning opportunity. Your presence and participation will contribute to meaningful conversations about creating a more bike-friendly and accessible region. With the support of our partners like Red Bike, Queen City Bike, Urban Basin Bicycling Club, Major Taylor Cycling Club of Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance, this route will tour trails, on-road bike lanes, and regular streets to showcase examples of what works and what needs improvement. One of the event’s highlights will be meeting and hearing from Cincinnati City Council candidates themselves. At the conclusion of the ride, each candidate will have a chance to introduce themselves and share their vision for fostering safer and more connected walking and cycling in our region. We’ll gather at the Red Bike station by the Purple People Bridge in Sawyer Point at 6:00 pm for check-in. Our ride will commence promptly at 6:30 pm, taking us on a brief tour around downtown. Feel free to access and download the route from this link. We extend a warm welcome to all riders for this leisurely-paced, guided, no-drop ride. All participants are required to sign a waiver and have their helmets on before joining us. Your safety remains our utmost concern!
