Which Tour de CROWN Route Will You Ride?

Friday, June 27, 2025 by Caitlin Sparks

Three unique rides—register today!

Every year, the Tour de CROWN evolves with the trail network it celebrates. As new segments of trails and bikeways open, our routes change to reflect the momentum—and the movement—we’re building together.

We’re thrilled to unveil the 2025 Tour de CROWN route lineup, with three distinct ride options for all types of riders.

Back in 2023, our Tri-State Trails team was amazed when 350 riders joined us for the very first Tour de CROWN. In 2024, over 600 riders rolled with us. And now, with a little under two months to go, we’re on track to welcome more people than ever to this celebration of trails, connection, and community.

Tour de CROWN

Saturday, August 23, 2025
Fifty West Brewing Company, Columbia Township, Ohio

The Great Parks Full CROWN (35.2 mi)

Find your wild on this 35.2-mile ride through parks, neighborhoods, bikeways, and trail segments that make up the vision for the CROWN. This route offers a front-row seat to the progress already made and the work still ahead, with several on-road sections where trails are still under development.

New this year: we’ll traverse Cincinnati’s West Side using Spring Grove Avenue instead of Beekman Street. We look forward to returning to Beekman next year, after a Complete Streets makeover improves conditions for people walking, biking, rolling, and driving.

The Fifty West Half CROWN (17.6 mi)

This ride highlights some of the most scenic and connected parts of the CROWN, including the Little Miami Scenic Trail, Beechmont Bridge Connector, Lunken Airport Loop, Delta Avenue Bikeway, Wasson Way, and Murray Path. It’s the perfect middle-distance ride for those eager to see progress and experience the energy of a more connected city.

Beechmont Connector Ride (8.5 mi)

Perfect for newer riders, families, or anyone craving a scenic cruise, this out-and-back route along the Little Miami Scenic Trail offers a welcoming way to experience the CROWN. You’ll pedal to the Beechmont Bridge Connector, a key link made possible by Great Parks, then cruise back to the Columbia Township Finish Line at Fifty West Brewing Company, where the Tour de CROWN Expo will be buzzing with live music, food, drinks, and celebration.

New in 2025: Bridging Communities, Building Trails

The Full CROWN route will showcase a new section of Wasson Way on Xavier University’s campus, which features a new signalized crossing at Montgomery Road. This recent trail improvement has been in the works for nearly five years!

Both the Full and Half CROWN routes will roll through the Village of Mariemont, giving riders a first look at the new trail section through the historic Trolley Park—a key piece of what’s coming next. In the coming years, this connection will allow people to ride from the Murray Path, through Mariemont, across US 50 at Pocahontas Ave., and seamlessly onto a new trail that leads back to Fifty West Brewing Company and the Little Miami Scenic Trail.

Thanks to our partners at Columbia Township and the Village of Mariemont, we’re able to close a lane of US 50 / Wooster Pike during the event to ensure the final stretch of your ride is safe, welcoming, and memorable. In just a few years, this stretch will be on trail, not with traffic!

Volunteer at the Tour de CROWN

Want to support the ride and enjoy it too? We’re looking for experienced riders to join us as ride guides and sweeps. Ride guides help lead pace groups and navigate the route, while sweeps bring up the rear to make sure every rider finishes safely. It’s a great way to be part of the team, connect with fellow cyclists, and help make the Tour de CROWN a smooth and supportive experience for all.

Tour de CROWN Expo
Saturday, August 23, 11:00 AM-2:00 PM

The Tour de CROWN Expo is a free, family-friendly celebration of trails, biking, and community—open to the public and welcoming to trail lovers of all ages. We’re especially excited to welcome MADQUEEN to the stage for a high-energy set featuring bike-and trail-themed covers and some fun, family-friendly rock-n-roll flair.

Whether you come to ride, cheer, learn, or lounge, the Expo is the perfect place to connect with others, learn about local trail projects, and soak up the energy of the Tour de CROWN.

Showcase Your Organization at the 2025 Tour de CROWN Expo

The 2025 Expo promises to be a fantastic opportunity for trail organizations, local non-profits, outdoor outfitters, community groups, and eco-friendly businesses to showcase their offerings. We hosted 600 riders in 2024 and expect an even bigger crowd this year. Secure your spot and join the celebration!
